Wendy Wisely received her BA in Theatre from University of Washington, and an MFA in Performance from San Jose State University. She has been a Theatre Arts educator for over 30 years, highlighted by teaching two semesters abroad in London and Firenze, Italy. Wendy received the Chancellors’ award for Creativity and Excellence at Chabot College and has presented symposium lectures on “The Case for Live Theatre in a Digital World” and “Zen and the Art of Directing” for several organizations including the Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival.
As a professional actor and director, Wendy’s work has been seen throughout the Bay Area and in Seattle, receiving a Dean Goodman award for her directing of Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde. Her work on camera includes TV and film, winning Best Supporting Actress at the Chicago Indie Horror Film Festival. Additional performance work includes voice overs and hundreds of live industrials for such companies as Apple, Oracle, Web TV, Cadence, and Google.
