B.A. in Studio Arts, Asian Studies, Swarthmore College

Miyuki Baker is a non-binary Zainichi artist, scholar, and parent living in the Fruitvale District on Ohlone Land committed to Beautiful Scholarship for our collective liberation. Their dissertation looks at solidarity as everyday performances, following the leadership of Poverty and BIPOC feminist scholars on how people with race, class, and academic privilege can agitate and transform our own communities in service of our collective liberation.
