Jessica Berman Hirigoyen teaches acting, voice, and text, and is a dialect coach. She teaches at U.C. Berkeley, A.C.T. (STC and SF Semester), and Academy of Art University. Recent coaching credits include: Kiss My Aztec!, The Good Book, Paradise Square: A New Musical, Angels in America, and What the Constitution Means to Me (Berkeley Rep), An American in Paris (North American Tour), In Old Age, The Eva Trilogy, The Baltimore Waltz, Sojourners, and runboyrun (Magic Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The War of the Roses, and Fences (Cal Shakes), and Oslo, The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, and August: Osage County (Marin Theatre Company). Her coaching credits at Berkeley include Summertime, After the War Blues, and Aulis: An Act of Nihilism in One Long Act. In addition to her work in the theatre, Jessica works with business professionals and private individuals on communication, presence, and presentation skills. She trained and worked as an actor in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, and holds an M.A. from the Birmingham School of Acting, and an M.F.A. from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
