Dio Ramirez

Dio Ramirez started in theater early in their life and continues to love and pursue the work. They earned their BA in Theater and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley. Since 2015, they have worked across the Bay Area as a Freelance Electrician, Lead Electrician, Light Board Programmer, and Production Manager. Some of their production credits include Berkeley Repertory Theatre, San Francisco Playhouse, Fresh Meat Festival, CenterREP, Marin Theatre Company, Magic Theatre, and ZSpace. Dio currently works as the Lighting Supervisor for the TDPS Electrics department; they oversee lighting installations for the season and lead the TH 168 Lighting Lab. They also serve as the Production Supervisor for TDPS performances where they supervise student operations in department productions.
