Join the Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies for an exciting day on campus — tour our spaces, meet with advisors and current students, and even take a class or two (no experience required!) — check out the schedule below.

Come visit us at the TDPS table! Meet with the undergraduate advisor and student Peer Advisors to learn more about our programs, courses, productions, and opportunities within the department.

Department Tour, 1pm-1:45pm, Playhouse Theater, Zellerbach Hall 

Join us for a guided tour of our department's performance and studio spaces. The tour will include the Playhouse Theater and other key venues, with insights into our dynamic courses and productions. Our undergraduate advisor and student Peer Advisors will be on hand to answer your questions.

Dancers' Movement Workshop, 2pm-2:45pm, Bancroft Dance Studio

Come explore your creative potential in this interactive workshop! Learn to work with time, space, energy, and dynamics as you develop choreographic tools and performance abilities. No prior dance experience is necessary.

Actors' Movement Workshop, 3pm-3:45pm, Bancroft Dance Studio

Join us for an interactive workshop that explores the kinesthetic relationship between the actor and the performance space. Develop a grounded connection to your environment and learn techniques to work from your inner center. This workshop is open to all, regardless of acting experience.
