Student Space Use

Space Use Policies

Please note that individuals requesting space will be held accountable for any misconduct from their group and are responsible for knowing and following the Studio Use Policies. Failure to abide by the rules and policies for space use will result in the loss of all space-use privileges for both the responsible party and the sponsoring organization for (at least) the remainder of the semester.

  • TDPS Students may participate in use of Zellerbach spaces for TDPS class projects/rehearsals.
  • Studios may be reserved in advance through the Callboard for assignments related to current TDPS courses.
  • Please Note: Anyone enrolled in a TDPS class may use Zellerbach Rooms 7, 133, 135, and 413 for course related work.
  • Z170 is first reserved for students currently enrolled in TDPS Dance Classes for work related to those courses. Space is released to general use as available.
  • Students currently enrolled in Costume Design or Lighting Design may use Zellerbach Room 8 and 130, respectively.

Special Project Reservations

TDPS students requiring more extensive use of rehearsal space may request use of Zellerbach Rooms 7, 170, and 413 for TDPS class projects/rehearsal.

Please Note: Requests for special project booking require at least one week for consideration.


UC Student Groups

Groups registered and in good standing with Campus Life & Leadership may request reservation of Zellerbach Rooms 7 and 413 for auditions and limited rehearsals. During the semester, preference is given to students enrolled in TDPS courses for class-related work. Availability is otherwise extremely limited. A list of participants must be provided to the stage door prior to use.
